Reporting to the Manager, Applications Support & Development, the Team Leader is responsible for planning, organizing and providing day-to-day direction to designated staff assigned clinical applications support and development.

Provides knowledge and leadership to advise IM/IT staff and project teams on the operational clinical documentation components of the Cerner PowerChart and related applications. Supports VIHA's strategic objectives by championing the implementation and adoption of the electronic health record.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in one of Health Information Sciences, Nursing and/or Computer Science with five (5) years' experience with application support, design,



build and testing within a healthcare environment.
