As a member of the Intellectual Property team, you will engage with researchers to draft patents and support our IP portfolio growth. The position can accommodate varying levels of experience, from Intermediate to Senior roles, allowing you to utilize your skills in a collaborative workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Discover and assess creative concepts for patentability
Draft applications across multiple technical fields
Build productive relationships with technical teams
Manage external communications with patent counsel
Oversee and improve the patent portfolio management
Requirements:
Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
Experience in patent processes and prosecution
Registration as a Canadian Patent Agent is preferred
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
Organizational aptitude to manage various priorities
