Take on a pivotal role as Counsel (Litigation) at the AGCO in Toronto, ON. Deliver exceptional legal services and represent the agency in crucial litigation efforts.
In this full time position within the Legal Services Division, you will apply your expertise in litigation to support Ontario's alcohol, gaming, and cannabis regulations. You will interface with legal statutes while preparing documentation for tribunal proceedings and advising on compliance matters, thereby contributing significantly to AGCO’s mission of public integrity and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide cutting-edge legal advice on statutory applications
Represent AGCO at administrative tribunals and appeals
Draft legal documents to support regulatory actions
Engage with diverse stakeholders in corporate projects
Aid in policy development for regulatory initiatives
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ legal experience in a regulatory context
Solid background in administrative law litigation
Familiarity with AGCO’s regulated sectors
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Law Degree and membership with the Law Society of Ontario
