Play a crucial role in student development as a Counsellor at Stitó:s Lá:lém Totí:lt Elementary/Middle School. Focus on mental health and social-emotional learning in a team-oriented environment.
This part time, temporary position spans every Monday, starting September 1, 2026. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree and robust experience in behaviour support and counselling practices. You will collaborate closely with classroom teachers and families while implementing evidence-based SEL programs.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and assess Functional Behaviour Assessments - Collaborate on CBIEPs with educational teams - Lead workshops on trauma-informed behaviour support - Facilitate SEL programs across school settings - Support students' emotional and academic transitions
Requirements: - Master’s degree in counselling or similar discipline - Knowledge of RTI framework for student support - Proven ability to develop inclusive learning settings - Familiarity with community support services - Committed to ongoing professional learning
