Our Assessments department is responsible for helping employers register for our no-fault insurance systems and maintaining their accounts.How you'll make a differenceYou’ll help ensure B.C.'s workers' compensation system is properly funded so we can serve workers and employers now and in the future.Where you'll workAt WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position.What you'll doAdjudicate insurance registration applications, employer classification changes, experience rating transfers, and legal entity changesApply law, policy, and procedures to respond to questions from firms regarding insurance coverage, the registration process, classification, payment, premium rates, payroll reporting, penalties, account changes, rate changes, and any problems with an employer's accountReview applications and register firms for standard or optional coverage, ensuring all requirements of law and policy are metReview coverage and payment information to determine if an account is in valuable standingCommunicate with employers in writing and verbally on decisions, such as changes to a firm's profile or coverage, or providing financial informationConsistently model the appropriate level of organizational behaviours expected of all WorkSafeBC employees:
