Now hiring School Bus Drivers for Simcoe, Hanover, Kingston, Ottawa and North Bay.This is a split shift (approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon), so being CLOSE to our school coverage area is essential.Your roleSafely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each dayPrioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicleConduct thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating conditionMaintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well kept, professional vehicleAccurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standardsImmediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicleAddress and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company proceduresParticipate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulationsDemonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful workplace for all passengershttps://www.Youtube.Com/watch?v=oAe3cmPI6yURequirementsYou are safety-focusedYou hold a valid minimum full Ontario G-class driver's license, Preference will be given to B class driversYou are 21 years of age or overYou possess a clean driving record and a criminal record search with vulnerable sector screeningYou have a sound driving knowledge of the locations in this postingYou have the ability to work independentlyYou are available for the required split shifts of 4-5 hours total, that could run:



Monday - Friday between 6:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 5pmYou possess solid communication skills and must be fluent in English.
