Starting hourly: $16.90 per hour.Golden Bear Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics serving the Central Valley, El Dorado County, and surrounding communities for over 40 years. We are known for providing the highest quality individualized care for our patients and for our team of highly skilled physical therapists who are passionate about helping patients achieve their goals.Currently, we are looking for a full‑time Physical Therapy Technician who will provide coverage to our clinics in Stockton and Lodi.Principal AccountabilitiesPrepare the treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.Prepare patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, and assisting them into physical therapy apparel (shorts, gowns, etc.).Do laundry and maintain an ample supply of clean linens.Record daily notes under direct supervision of a Physical Therapist and with co‑signature by the PT.Provide information to patients by answering questions and requests.Help treat patients by applying ice or heat packs, assisting them onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion, tracking walking time and distance, and performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques as requested by a PT.Educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Provide equipment and supplies by sterilizing, delivering,



and positioning them for therapist access and patient use.Ensure operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.Maintain physical therapy supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, and communicating with the person in charge or ordering.Enhance the department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership of new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value, and being a team player.Collect garbage at the end of each working day.Report any issues needing resolution to Physical Therapists.Proactively answer incoming phone calls before they route to voicemail, triaging each call to ensure a five‑star patient experience by appropriately assisting with appointment cancellations or reschedules, completing intake forms, or taking detailed messages for the Therapist or PCC as needed.Assist with scheduling appointments for patients within the clinic to ensure efficient and timely access to care.Assist in collecting 100% of co‑pays/deductibles and payments prior to the patient being seen by a provider per established policies and procedures.Assist in scheduling current evaluations accurately and in alignment with clinic protocols.During uncovered hours at the front desk, occasionally provide support focused on checking in patients, collecting co‑pays,



answering and triaging phone calls, and scheduling patients appropriately.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Position RequirementsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesThorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Raintree PMS is a plus.Strong customer service skills.Ability to maintain confidential documents.Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.Ability to communicate complex information in a well‑thought‑out, easily understood manner, both orally and in writing, in a variety of settings and styles.Ability to communicate in an honest, direct, and professional manner, relating well to others to build rapport and effective relationships.Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions, identifying and sharing relevant information, and soliciting feedback from others as well as giving and receiving feedback objectively.Ability to identify and solve problems.Strong team‑player attributes.Ability to multitask responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with patients nearby.Education and ExperienceEducation:High School diploma or equivalent. A college degree in a related health field is preferred.Experience:Prior experience in customer service.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsRequires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
