We offer a safe, supportive, and growth-focused work workplace where employees can develop their skills and advance their careers.Only candidates who live inMetro Vancouverwill be considered for this position.As a Welder, You WillPerform TIG welding operations on various metal componentsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirementsSet up and operate welding equipment, including TIG and MIG welding, torches, and other toolsClean and prepare surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, grease, or other contaminantsPosition and secure workpieces using clamps, fixtures, or other holding devicesWeld components together according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and weld qualityInspect finished welds for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments as neededFollow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work areaRequired Qualifications1+ years of welding experience with aluminum and stainless steel (preferred).Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques and processes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings,
