arc programs seeks a Part-Time Clinician to enhance the mental health support network within elementary schools in Central Kelowna. In this position, you will assist children coping with mental health challenges and diagnoses, using various specialized, evidence-based treatment methods. Your role will involve working alongside school staff and community agencies to foster a deeper understanding of the youth's mental health needs among their families.
Key Responsibilities: • Address mental health issues affecting youth in schools • Implement specialized,
evidence-based treatment modalities • Collaborate with school staff and community services • Educate families on youth mental health • Participate in suicide risk assessments as necessary
Requirements: • Relevant master’s degree is strongly preferred • Experience in mental health counseling (3+ years) • Familiarity with family and youth support services • Hold a valid BC Driver's License and insured vehicle • Complete a criminal background screening
