Enhance community sports initiatives as the Sport Development Supervisor at Markham Pan Am Centre. Lead programs that encourage participation while supporting staff in their roles.

As a full time supervisor, you will act under the Sport Development Coordinator to ensure sport development programs run efficiently within the community. Your role involves recruiting and mentoring staff, managing performance, and forging relationships with local sport organizations.

You'll play a critical role in promoting physical literacy and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage administration of city-wide sport initiatives
Oversee hiring, training, and performance of staff
Work with sport groups for budget identification




Ensure high customer service standards for external relations
Organize promotional materials for events and programs

Requirements:
Degree or diploma in recreation or sport-related field
Three years of supervisory experience in a related setting
Certified in Standard First Aid or CPR C/AED
Familiarity with MS Office and CLASS systems is preferable
Exceptional team-building and communication abilities
