You’ll collaborate across multiple fields and with the brightest minds to find creative solutions. We are looking for a Technical Advisor to support our Chief Information Officer Branch.

The Technical

Advisor would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity. We are looking for a Technical Advisor that brings an enthusiasm for building solutions that are forward thinking with considerations for re‑use, maintainability and extensibility. The incumbent is someone to provide expert advice, research, analysis, development and design of applications and related strategies.

This includes client‑facing portals and DevOps processes, plus key activities: Provides specialized advice to internal project teams and work units on technical solutions and standards to adapt and support the design, development, testing, implementation, integration, maintenance and support of IT applications. Advises and guides business clients on technical applications issues,



and provides expertise and analysis to facilitate client understanding, involvement and acceptance of the design, development, testing and delivery, installation, integration and maintenance of IT applications. Provides technical direction to working groups and periodically leads project teams composed of technical staff.

Configuring entities, forms, views, and security permissions in Dynamics CRM 365, based on business requirements. Creating workflows, business processes and rules, as well as custom form scripts that leverage the client‑side Javascript libraries.

Extending

Dynamics CRM including developing server‑side plugins, workflows and processes using the Dynamics SDK and .NET; Contributions implementation would be an asset. Integrating a public facing portal using Microsoft Power Pages. Bachelor degree in Computer Science from a recognized University. A Technical College diploma in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and direct experience may be considered.

Experience using software development methodologies, including SCRUM, plusexperience with source control, various branching methodologies and release automation. Extensive experience working with Dynamics CRM 365; this includes configuration of entities, forms, views, rules, workflows, business process flows and security permissions based on business requirements and acceptance criteria. Significant* experience customizing or extending Dynamics CRM through the development of server‑side plugins, workflows and actions, as well as developing custom form scripts leveraging client‑side JavaScript libraries.

Significant* experience developing Power Pages Portals compliant with Government of Canada Web Standards, such as WET and Canada.Experience working in an agile environment using Azure DevOps Experience working with other Microsoft Power Platform Apps and Services would be considered an asset.



Language requirements

English Information on language requirements and self‑assessment tests Technical competencies Solid* knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum and/or LEAN, including release management and source integration with git, following industry branching standards. Advanced knowledge configurating Microsoft Dynamics CRM entities, forms, views, rules, workflows, business processes and security permissions. Advanced ability to develop in C#/.NET using object oriented best practices and extend Dynamics forms through JavaScript.

Strong ability to develop Power Pages compliant with Government of Canada Web Standards, i.e. Strong ability to integrate Dynamics with other systems via web services or APIs, including the ability to migrate data from other data sources. Advanced ability to perform research and analysis to recommend solutions.
