About Us
Led by Dr. Evan Bowness (Canada Research Chair in Sustainability and Equity), the Fostering Resilience through Audio Visual Media and Engaged Scholarship Studio (the FRAMES Studio) conducts interdisciplinary visual social science sustainability research with community partners. We work closely with Indigenous and land-based communities, and our collaborative work is grounded in principles of community leadership, reciprocity, and epistemic justice.
