The Concierge/Security Guard will act as the main liaison between property owners, residents, management, and tradespeople. In addition to handling concierge duties, this role ensures the security, safety, and overall well‑being of the property. The position includes a mix of administrative tasks, customer service, security measures, and emergency response coordination.Location:Surrey, King George SkytrainPart‑time Shifts (40 hours): Tuesday to Saturday 3 pm to 11 pmPay Rate:$18 per hourHealth Benefits after 6 months of employmentKey ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Customer ServiceGreet residents and visitors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance.Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining records and managing communication.Serve as a point of contact for residents and manage requests in a professional and friendly manner.Security & SafetyMonitor security systems, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security incidents.Ensure safety protocols are followed for all individuals on the property.Handle access control and provide security escorts when necessary.Emergency Response CoordinationRespond quickly to emergencies,



ensuring proper coordination with relevant authorities.Assist in the implementation of emergency plans and procedures, ensuring residents' safety.Basic QualificationsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.Capable of climbing a ladder (up to 8 feet) and navigating building stairs.Physical endurance for standing, walking, sitting, and repetitive motions.Strong visual accuracy, hearing ability, and listening skills.Ability to complete 8‑hour shifts with regular statutory breaks.Proficient in using mobile phones, mobile applications, email, and Microsoft Word.Experience and SkillsExcellent customer‑first attitude with the ability to handle difficult situations.Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Capable of training and mentoring staff from diverse backgrounds.Highly organized and attentive to detail.Valid BC Security License is mandatory.Company OverviewAt CMI Concierge & Security Inc., we deliver outstanding service to residential condominium communities throughout Greater Vancouver.
