2026.Essential QualificationsCurrent RPN registration with the College of Nurses of OntarioThree (3) years current nursing experience in psychiatric workplace working with seriously mentally ill individuals in an inpatient or outpatient setting including medication administrationWhere RPN College certification diploma program did not include Advanced Physical Assessment and Medication Administration, applicant must provide evidence of additional education/certification equivalent to current diploma requirements or three (3) years current nursing experience in a psychiatric environment working with seriously mentally ill individuals in an inpatient or outpatient setting including medication administrationCertificate/Diploma in Mental Health NursingNon Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate or CPI training or completed within six months of hireCurrent BCLS, on hireExcellent and comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment skillsDemonstrated knowledge of psychopharmacologic treatment and protocolsSkilled at verbal and non-verbal de-escalation techniquesExperience in health teachingBasic computer skillsExcellent listening, communication,
