Project Manager – ICI Construction (Ground-Up Preferred)We’re working with an established GTA-based General Contractor seeking a Project Manager to oversee ICI construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout. The ideal candidate brings experience managing ground‑up commercial and/or institutional projects, while additional exposure to interior renovations/fit‑outs is considered an asset.This role is well suited for someone who can manage multiple stakeholders, maintain project momentum, and drive successful delivery across schedule, budget, safety, and quality expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects from pre‑construction planning through turnover and closeout.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement timelines, and project documentation.Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, site teams, and client stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project.Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, financials, risks, and milestones.Review drawings, specifications, contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.Work closely with Site Superintendents to ensure site operations align with project timelines and quality expectations.Monitor project costs, forecast financial performance,



and manage invoicing/progress billings.Identify project risks proactively and implement solutions to maintain timelines.Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures.Support project closeout, deficiency management, and final turnover documentation.Qualifications5+ years of Project Management experience within ICI construction.Experience managing ground‑up commercial and/or institutional projects is strongly preferred.Additional experience with interior renovations, tenant fit‑outs, or occupied‑space renovations is considered an asset.Strong understanding of construction drawings, contracts, scheduling, and project financials.Experience working with subcontractors, consultants, and ownership groups.Solid communication and leadership skills.Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Postsecondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.Compensation$130,000 – $160,000 base salary, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and performance incentives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
