Drive cloud financial management as the Director of FinOps focusing on Azure at our Toronto office. Lead strategies for cost optimization and work closely with Engineering to ensure financial accountability.

This permanent, full-time role leads the FinOps program, ensuring sustainable cloud cost management without sacrificing reliability. You will shape the governance framework, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and partner collaboratively across departments to influence cost-effective decisions. Your leadership will also help in building a competent FinOps team while focusing on engineering and product alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own the FinOps strategy and governance framework
• Manage cloud budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis




• Develop cost showback and chargeback practices
• Establish savings targets with relevant business cases
• Drive Azure optimization initiatives and policy adherence

Requirements:
• 10+ years in cloud technology and finance operations
• 3+ years in a leadership capacity
• Proven ability to achieve measurable cost savings
• Solid Azure knowledge and financial acumen
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
