Lead play-based programming as a Community Mentor at Inuuqatigiit Centre, dedicated to supporting Inuit youth development. This part-time role involves engaging children through creative activities and community events.

As the Right to Play Coordinator, your focus will be on building leadership and self-efficacy among participants. Reporting to both a Community Supervisor and a Right to Play Program Officer, your efforts will help cultivate culturally-relevant programming. Flexibility for evening and weekend hours is essential, along with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:
• Meet local schools to discuss programming possibilities
• Develop a program schedule that meets participant needs




• Participate in intergenerational community events
• Facilitate training sessions for program implementation
• Document and evaluate program success

Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Services or similar
• Experience in youth programming and workshops
• Knowledge of Inuit culture is a must
• Robust planning and facilitation skills
• Experience working with communities of Inuit or Indigenous descent
