Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to join a growing finance team for a leading digital media company. This individual will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, managing technical accounting matters, and supporting corporate initiatives including audits, tax filings, and acquisitions. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with Finance, FP&A;, and executive leadership to support strategic business objectives.
The ideal candidate will come from a combination of public accounting (Big Four preferred) and corporate finance environments and possess strong technical accounting expertise.
Responsibilities Lead the financial reporting function and ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards.
Prepare and review consolidated monthly and annual financial statements.
Research, assess, and document technical accounting matters, including acquisitions, debt/equity transactions, revenue recognition, and stock-based compensation.
Oversee month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and supporting working papers.
Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
Prepare annual Canadian and U.S. corporate tax filings.
Support implementation of recent accounting standards and continuous disclosure requirements.
Partner with FP&A; to align budgeting, forecasting, and accounting policies.
Assist with financial due diligence activities related to acquisitions and strategic investments.
Drive process improvements and help enhance the efficiency and scalability of the finance function.
Collaborate cross-functionally and provide leadership, training, and mentorship within the finance team.

Skills and Requirements 2+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience post-designation
Strong knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting requirements
Experience preparing consolidated financial statements
Experience supporting external audit processes
Strong understanding of complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, debt accounting, and stock-based compensation
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills Big Four public accounting experience (heavily preferred)
CPA designation or equivalent accounting certification (heavily preferred)
Combination of public accounting and industry/corporate accounting experience
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or other strategic transactions
Exposure to U.S. corporate tax filings
Experience implementing new accounting standards or finance process improvements
