In collaboration with GTM, product, and marketing teams, you'll help refine our approach to the Canadian public-sector market while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance. This is a national role anchored in the National Capital Region, supporting the Government of Canada, provincial/territorial governments, Canada's national security and defence community, crown corporations, and the broader public sector.

Responsibilities
Drive new business and revenue growth across the Canadian public sector, with the Government of Canada as the primary focus and provincial/territorial governments, crown corporations, and the broader public sector as secondary coverage, owning the full sales cycle from initial outreach through deployment

Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with departmental mandates and modernization initiatives, positioning the company early in major programs to shape requirements before they are finalized

Coordinate closely with cloud service providers and system integrators to ensure successful deployment and integration

Represent the company at Canadian public-sector and partner events, including industry days, conferences, and cloud provider events, raising the company's profile through speaking engagements and community engagement

Provide detailed market intelligence and customer feedback to product teams to ensure our offerings meet Canadian public-sector requirements, including responsible-AI obligations under the Treasury Board Directive on Automated Decision-Making and the Algorithmic Impact Assessment

Create and maintain sales playbooks specific to Canadian public-sector use cases and procurement processes

Generate pipeline and own territory and account planning across your assigned Canadian public-sector accounts, maintaining hands‑on engagement with key accounts

Collaborate across teams to ensure coordinated delivery of commitments and maintain appropriate documentation of customer engagements, engaging bilingually (English/French) with federal institutions and Quebec public-sector customers where required

You may be a positive fit if you have:
7+ years of enterprise sales experience in the Canadian public sector, the majority selling to the Government of Canada, with a proven track record of driving adoption of emerging technologies

Deep understanding of federal department and agency mandates, challenges, and technology needs, with working knowledge of provincial/territorial and broader public-sector buyers

Demonstrated ability to balance strategic account leadership with hands‑on sales execution

Familiarity with how the Government of Canada buys and secures cloud and AI services, with the judgment to navigate these processes alongside partners, capture, and deal teams

Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets and closing large, complex, long‑cycle public‑sector deals

Ability to be based in the National Capital Region, with travel across Canada as needed

Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada personnel security clearance (Reliability Status; Secret an asset)

Executive presence and relationship-building skills across all levels, from technical teams to senior agency leadership (ADM/DG)

Proven ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including cloud providers and system integrators
