Your area of focus.
You will complete work required to restore vehicles to “like new” condition so we can reunite them with customers. Reporting to the Collision Centre Manager, you will work with your collision centre team to refinish & paint damaged vehicles.
What drives your day-to-day? Surface Preparation: Preparing parts by sanding, masking, cleaning, and performing final surface preparation to ensure proper paint adhesion and finish quality
Coating Application: Applying primers, sealers, basecoats, single-stage finishes, clearcoats, urethanes, epoxies, and specialty coatings
Equipment Operations: Spraying using HVLP guns, pressure pots, conventional spray equipment,



and air-assisted systems
Volume Production: Producing consistent, high-quality automotive finishes across a large volume of parts and components
Defect Correction & Quality Checks: Performing quality inspections throughout the refinishing process and correcting paint defects (such as runs, pinholes, or dirt nibs) when required
Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining spray equipment and keeping the work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards
Safety & Compliance: Following all company safety procedures, respiratory protection protocols, hazardous material guidelines, and quality standards
Team Collaboration: Participating in daily huddle meetings to review due-out schedules, coordinating with the production team, and celebrating team wins
What are the must-haves... Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processes
Pursuit of/in process with I-CAR certification training & I-CAR welding certification
Some experience working with Estimators to complete quotes preferred
Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently & cost-effectively
Knowledge of & the ability to operate machinery/tools required to complete repairs




Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time & using power/hand-held equipment
A valid driver's license & protected driving history is required
You must be legally authorized to work in Canada
