Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Service Delivery, the Cultural Educational Facilitator delivers workshops, create educational material, support schools, youth and communitygroups through the Indian Day School programming.This role ensures the effectiveimplementation of program objectives through strong organizational and communicationpractices. The Cultural Educational Facilitator position plays a key role in supporting culturally andeducational knowledge and resources that addresses the needs of Indian Day school survivors.

Key Responsibilities

Approve and coordinate the purchase of program supplies and equipment

Coordinate communication between program staff, organizational leadership, and external stakeholders

Manage administrative functions, including logistics and providing monthly reporting.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee program activities and schedules.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and best practices.

Seek to build and maintain positive working relationships external partnerships and relevant organizations.

Schedule and organize cultural educational workshops and events; prepare supporting materials and resources.

Ensure effective use of technology for meetings, presentations, and program operation.

Prepare monthly reports and required documentation to Director of Service Delivery.

Must be a team player.





Qualifications
Education & Experience

Business Administration or a related field is required and considered an asset.

Understanding of the history and ongoing impacts of the Indian Day School system is a strong asset.

Experience supporting community-based or social service programs is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Adobe is an asset.

Demonstrated experience with administrative and clerical tasks.

Ability to work respectfully with First Nation communities, survivors, and families.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends, may be required.

Must provide a current satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Explicit Child Abuse Registry Check.

Class 5 Driver’s License and vehicle.
