Join the Township of Oro-Medonte as a part-time Weekend Road Patrol. This role focuses on monitoring road conditions and ensuring safety across municipal roads during winter weekends.

The Township is looking for two part time contract workers for a six-month position, beginning November 2026, with shifts on both Saturdays and Sundays. You will patrol municipal roads, reporting winter hazards like snow accumulation and potholes, and follow specific Township procedures for staff call-ins and documenting deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol municipal roads to report hazards
• Document snow, ice, potholes, and other issues
• Initiate staff call-ins as needed
• Remove trees from roadways in emergencies
• Install barricades for road closures or detours

Requirements:
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Valid ‘G’ Class driver’s license (DZ preferred)
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Criminal Record Check and Driver’s Abstract required
• Flexibility for day or afternoon shifts on weekends
