JOB DUTIES Inspect conveyor belts for wear, damage and other issues.
Repair damaged belts and replace worn belt sections and related components when required.
Perform regular maintenance to keep conveyor belts in good working condition.
Troubleshoot belt problems and make necessary repairs.
Test belts after repairs to make sure they are operating properly.




Work with production staff to complete repairs and minimize equipment downtime.
Use hand and power tools required for belt repair and maintenance.
Follow company safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Secondary school plus completion of college or other courses relevant to a particular equipment or product repair or completion of minimum 12 months of on-the-job training is required
1 year of experience
BENEFITS AND SALARY Full time permanent position
$29.00 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week
Overtime may be required and will be paid at 1.5 of your regular hourly rate after 44 hours per week
