SOAR is seeking a skilled Employment Consultant in Caledonia, ON. Engage with job seekers and employers to foster meaningful employment opportunities.

As a Full Time Employment Consultant, you’ll be a key member of SOAR's Employment Services Team supported by government funding. You will provide crucial assessments, develop comprehensive service plans, and collaborate with local entities to facilitate workshops. Your advocacy will drive client success in gaining sustainable employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide case management and support for job seekers
• Develop and implement personalized service plans
• Facilitate workshops in collaboration with training providers
• Work directly with employers to create job placements
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure job retention for clients

Requirements:
• Diploma in Human/Social Services or Business preferred
• At least 1 year of related experience
• Skilled in MS Office applications
• Reliable transportation for local travel
• Capability to manage exposure to vicarious trauma
