Be a guiding force for individuals in need as a Peer Supporter with Stonehenge Therapeutic Community. This full time role focuses on offering emotional and practical support to tenants in the Permanent Supportive Housing program.

This position requires a passionate individual with lived experience of substance use disorder and recovery. You will provide valuable peer support, promoting housing stability while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Your role will foster hope and self-sufficiency for tenants, allowing them to navigate their challenges through effective community connections.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver peer support rooted in lived experience
• Assist tenants in achieving personal wellness goals




• Provide service navigation and appointment accompaniment
• Facilitate community connections and engagement activities
• Co-facilitate support groups and house meetings

Requirements:
• Lived experience with substance use disorder required
• Minimum one year in addictions or mental health support
• Post-secondary education in relevant field
• Valid G Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Certification with Peer Support Canada an asset
