In this role, you will be responsible for treasury activities including cash flow management, credit facility administration, financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support informed decision‑making, optimize liquidity, maintain compliance, and enhance treasury processes and systems.ResponsibilitiesTreasury Operations & Cash ManagementDevelop and maintain short‑term and long‑term cash flow forecasts to support effective liquidity management.Manage borrowing activities and support credit facility administration.Oversee key banking transactions and support efficient bank account management.Process and manage letters of credit requests in coordination with banks and internal stakeholders.Serve as the banking system administrator, including coordinating user access and system setups.Financial Reporting & AnalysisLead month‑end treasury analysis and financial reporting activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting.Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly variance analysis related to cash, loans and borrowings, interest income, and interest expense.Collaborate with departments and subsidiaries to support alignment with organizational and financial objectives.Develop and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) reporting and treasury metrics.Compliance,
Risk & Audit SupportPrepare compliance reporting packages to support internal policies and external borrowing covenant requirements.Support the identification and mitigation of treasury‑related financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange exposure.Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and borrowing agreements.Lead treasury‑related year‑end audit activities and liaise with external auditors.Systems, Reporting & Continuous ImprovementMaintain the operational integrity of the Treasury Management System, including system administration responsibilities.Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to provide real‑time treasury and financial insights.Support the implementation of new banking services, technologies, automation initiatives, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Other DutiesPerform additional tasks as assigned to support operational objectives.QualificationsEducation & Technical KnowledgeBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.CPA, CTP, or another relevant professional designation, or actively working toward completion.Experience4+ years of related experience in treasury, finance,
or accounting.Experience developing and supporting detailed financial models.Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.Experience working with ERP systems; Power BI experience is considered an asset.Experience within a unionized utility environment is considered an asset.Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of treasury best practices, including banking, cash management, borrowing, investments, and financial risk management.Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, treasury management systems, and Power BI.Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively to leadership and stakeholders.Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license in good standing.Compensation & BenefitsSalary Grade 15 ($101,190 - $126,488 annually).
