Our client is the largest HVAC service and retrofit provider on Vancouver Island, and part of a fast-growing group of companies.
They are now hiring a Dispatcher to be the operational hub between customers, technicians, and the office. This is a full-time, permanent, in-person role managing inbound customer communication, scheduling and coordinating field technicians, creating accurate work orders, and coordinating residential installations from estimate through completion.
What You'll Do: Manage the daily and weekly technician schedule across commercial and residential service and install work

Assign and dispatch technicians based on job priority, location, skill set, and Service Manager direction

Answer inbound calls promptly and handle customer inquiries professionally, qualifying each request and routing it accordingly

Create complete and accurate work orders in the field service software for every service or maintenance request

Coordinate residential install scheduling, sub-trades, equipment ordering, and site readiness from estimate through completion

Conduct outbound calls to the residential customer list to schedule maintenance visits

Submit equipment warranty documentation on a weekly basis

Communicate proactively with customers, setting clear expectations and following up when timelines change

What You Bring: Experience in a dispatch, customer service, or administrative coordination role, HVAC, trades,



or field service background is an asset

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, phone-confident, professional, and clear

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced, fluid environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); CRM experience is an asset

Experience with field service management software (Service Fusion, ServiceTitan, or similar) is a strong asset, but not required

Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team where teamwork and continuous improvement are core values

High school diploma or equivalent required

Candidates from other customer-facing industries (hospitality, retail, and similar) are welcome to apply, provided you are confident with computers and multitasking

Compensation & Schedule: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on experience

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Extended health and dental benefits after 3 months
