Become an Experienced Tube Laser Equipment Operator with Russel Metals in Winnipeg, MB. This essential role will have you operating sophisticated BLM tube lasers to create top-notch components.
The right candidate will have at least two years of experience with tube laser systems, particularly the BLM LT8 and LT8.20. Your efforts will directly support our goal of outstanding production quality while adhering to safety protocols in our busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate BLM tube laser systems safely and efficiently
• Set up machinery and ensure proper material handling
• Monitor production quality and make necessary adjustments
• Conduct thorough inspections of finished products

Requirements:
• 2+ years of tube laser or CNC cutting equipment experience
• Ability to interpret and work from manufacturing drawings
• Robust focus on detail and production quality
• Crane operation experience considered an asset
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
