Job Title: Electronics Quality Inspector (IPC-A-610)
Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections of pin-through-hole, surface mount, board, and box-level assemblies. The role involves using microscopes and other inspection tools to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional inspection skills and a deep understanding of solder joints, ensuring products meet quality criteria as defined by our inspection leaders and quality engineers.

Responsibilities

Independently perform product visual inspection and measurements to assess compliance with specifications.

Record inspection data and reject nonconforming materials.

Participate in issue resolution and follow action plans when non-conformance is detected.

Utilize the Stop Call Wait and Escalate process for recurring defects.

Engage in Tier meetings as necessary.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of quality control/inspection experience.

Proficiency with microscopes.

Ability to read and understand assembly documentation.

Experience with computer systems for logging inspection data.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Good knowledge of SMT/TH or Mix Tech assemblies as per IPC A-610 standards.

Electronics manufacturing experience is preferred.

Familiarity with electronics, electrical schematics, and soldering.

The work environment is generally clean, with occasional exposure to dust, metals/solder, high noise levels from operating machines, or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
