Reporting to the UTM Veterinary Director and ACF Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the recent animal facility. You will manage equipment relocation, operational needs, and assist in training staff and students. This position focuses on enhancing animal care processes through compliance and safety training to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operational needs in labs/workshops
• Perform precise lab experiments and modifications
• Ensure compliance with lab safety procedures
• Order supplies within set limits
• Serve as a technical resource for lab protocols

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum three years in vivarium administration
• Experience with diverse species, particularly mice
• Strong knowledge of biosafety standards
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
