In this pivotal position, you will engage with a network of individual and corporate donors within British Columbia to raise substantial funds for the Wilder Institute's mission. Your role includes managing donor portfolios, preparing impactful proposals, and executing successful engagement strategies to meet fundraising goals collaboratively with the national team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage major gift donor portfolios with a focus on significant contributions
• Meet fundraising objectives and activity metrics annually
• Develop tailored stewardship and engagement materials
• Foster relationships with local corporations and community leaders
• Conduct meaningful donor interactions and networking
Requirements:
• 5–10 years in fundraising, philanthropy or business development
• Successful history of securing major donations
• Robust organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with CRM systems preferred
• Ability to travel within British Columbia
