This role emphasizes comprehensive communication assessments and treatment plans, collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates will engage in rounds, assist with education initiatives, and contribute to various clinical settings as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for adult patients
• Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and meetings
• Teach group education classes on relevant topics
• Perform Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies
• Advocate for patients and families at care conferences
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Registration with CASLPO
• 2 years of experience in acute care preferred
• Solid communication skills in a team environment
• Flexible in prioritizing tasks and adapting
