Support the Lac La Ronge Indian Band as a Child Advocate Worker, focusing on family safety and community resources. Engage in initiatives that uplift at-risk families.

This full-time position is set in Hall Lake, SK, under the guidance of the Prevention Coordinator. The successful candidate will collaborate with external agencies, conduct essential workshops, and provide tailored support for high-risk families. Your expertise will facilitate connection and care essential for community wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Organize family preservation training and activities
• Facilitate home visits and respite care services
• Implement restorative interventions for families
• Conduct documentation for Child Protection referrals
• Provide mental health counseling for youth and families

Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or closely related area
• 2 years of Indigenous community experience
• Robust organizational and time management skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Criminal and vulnerable sector checks required
