Join the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs as a Policy Analyst focused on supporting First Nations. This full-time position emphasizes policy research, analysis, and community engagement.

This role requires proficiency in conducting thorough policy research and evaluating existing programs to develop impactful current proposals. You will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including First Nations, Tribal Councils, and community organizations to create meaningful recommendations. Your work will advocate for necessary systemic changes and improve the lives of First Nations individuals and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive research on various policy issues
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies




• Collect and interpret complex data sets for policy recommendations
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments
• Develop policy proposals and briefing documents

Requirements:
• University degree in Political Science or related field
• 3-5 years experience in policy development
• 2+ years experience in the political sector
• Strong understanding of First Nations challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Your expertise in policy analysis and community advocacy will support critical initiatives within the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs.
