Lead the Family Services team at Scw’exmx Child and Family Services Society as a Family Services Team Leader. This role prioritizes child safety and family preservation with a focus on culturally grounded support.

As a skilled, culturally aware leader, you will supervise and coach Family Service Social Workers, ensuring alignment with the Child, Family and Community Service Act. Your expertise will play a vital role in providing guidance and support to maintain manageable caseloads while fostering family reunification pathways and community-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise Family Services Social Workers daily
• Ensure compliance with child safety policies and practices
• Support staff with safety and risk assessments




• Monitor caseload distribution and workload pressures
• Foster collaborative relationships with community partners

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Minimum three years in child protection or family services
• Knowledge of delegated authority and child safety practices
• Robust communication and mentoring skills
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required
