Position Summary
TheCollision Repair Estimatoris a professional, customer-oriented, and technically knowledgeable individual responsible for determining the extent of auto body damage and estimating the cost to make the necessary repairs. The primary responsibility is to create a positive experience for customers throughout the entire process by providing accurate estimates, clear explanations, and continuous updates. Reporting directly to the Body Shop Manager, the Collision Repair Estimator works closely with customers, insurance companies, and the Body Shop Team to ensure customer satisfaction in the Body Shop Department.
Key Responsibilities
Promptly greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner while determining and assisting with their needs
Conduct walk-around vehicle inspections while actively listening to customer explanations, concerns, and inquiries
Prepare quotes for customers with clear descriptions for the job quoted
Continuously check in with technicians for repair progress, update customers accordingly and explain the work completed
Obtain quotes on parts and materials from outside suppliers
Interact with vendors, insurance companies and business partners in order to execute work orders
Resolve any customer concerns in a respectful and timely manner
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned or modified as necessary throughout the course of your employment.

Technical Skills & Requirements
Technical collision repair knowledge is required (3+ years)
Mathematically adept to provide accurate estimates
ICAR training is an asset
Experience with Mitchell estimating and PBS
Commitment to continuous learning to update industry knowledge
Valid BC driver's license required
Logistical Requirements
This is a full time position available at theDueck on Marine location. On occasion, employees may be requested to work extended hours, including weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business.
