In this continuing full-time position at the Office of Black Student Success, you'll leverage your lived experience and qualified skills to enhance student persistence and success. Collaborate closely with faculty and community partners to dismantle barriers and facilitate comprehensive support tailored to student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive Early Alert processes for timely interventions
• Evaluate student attendance and academic progress
• Build connections to relevant student services
Requirements:
• University degree or relevant experience
• Minimum three years demonstrating effective student support
• Lived experience as part of the African Nova Scotian community
• Proven ability to handle confidential information
• Familiarity with privacy legislation and ethical standards
Lead efforts in promoting equity and student success while engaging with a vibrant community.
