Inclusion Support Teacher Appointment

1.0 FTE Temporary Duration

September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 or earlier return of incumbent Qualifications

Education degree plus a Master's degree, or an Inclusive Education certificate, or 5 upper-level courses (must include a Level B Assessment course); recent successful classroom teaching experience in adapting curriculum; ability to:

lead in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Individual Education Plans, Learning Support Plans and Annual Instruction plans; select and adapt curriculum, programs, and instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students including those with complex diverse abilities; carry out a variety of assessments, including classroom observation, curriculum-based assessment and diagnostic teaching methods, and administration and interpretation of norm-referenced assessment instruments to Level B;- guide and support education assistant work under the direction of the school principal and provide leadership to the student support services department; serve as school representatives when consulting with school district staff and community agencies;

effective communication, interpersonal,



organizational and classroom management skills; ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; and BC Qualified Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card. Closing Date for Applications
