Our public sector client is seeking a Intermediate Business Analyst (3-5 years) to deliver business analysis, project management, and change management services using MS Office Suite and Visio

This contract prospect supports business analysis, project management, and change management initiatives within a public sector environment. The role includes facilitating meetings and workshops, developing project documentation, coordinating technical activities, and supporting organizational change initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to process mapping, project planning, stakeholder engagement, and business process improvement activities in a hybrid work environment.

1 year contract to start. Hybrid model in Richmond.

Must Haves

3-5 years as an Business Analyst delivering business analysis , project management , and change management services

Advanced use of MS Office Suite and Visio for project documentation and deliverables

Stakeholder management , cross-functional workshops , and facilitation of requirements and risk discussions

Business process improvement methodologies , user stories , and acceptance criteria

Working knowledge of project management principles and change management

Responsibilities

Facilitate meetings and workshops in person and virtually

Coordinate and provide direction to I&T; support teams, co-workers, and clients on technical activities





Develop project plans, process maps, change management plans, and statements of work

Prepare presentations for steering committees

Maintain risk and issue logs and decision logsGather and translate business and non-functional requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria

Analyze and document business problems and design approaches using business process improvement methodologies
