Canada Games: Québec, 2027 The Canada Games are the country’s largest multi-sport competition and will bring together more than 3,500 high-calibre athletes and coaches in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027, across 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.
Building the Team The 2027 Canada Games Host Society is looking for bold thinkers to help create a legendary Games experience. Your mission? Your Role History is made with the right people. As an Assistant, Events, you’ll play a key role on the team in helping tomorrow’s champions have an unforgettable experience in an energetic and stimulating environment. With your attention to detail and organizational skills, you’ll help ensure a seamless, positive, and memorable experience during the Games.
Under the supervision of the Director, Communications, your talent and energy will enable you to:
Assister l'équipe dans la planification et la coordination des activités protocolaires, des cérémonies et de la programmation culturelle;
Soutenir l'organisation logistique des cérémonies de remise des médailles ainsi que des cérémonies d'ouverture et de clôture;
Appuyer la préparation des réceptions protocolaires et assurer le soutien à l'accueil des invités et des VIP;
Contribuer au bon déroulement des activités de la Place des Jeux et des événements destinés au grand public;
Effectuer le suivi des demandes opérationnelles et apporter un soutien dans la gestion des imprévus;
Collaborer avec les différentes équipes afin d'assurer une exécution efficace des activités et des événements;
Réaliser diverses tâches administratives et de coordination en soutien aux opérations événementielles.

College diploma in event management, marketing, communications, or any other relevant field;
1 year of relevant experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Proficiency with computer tools (Google Workspace);
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced workplace;
Strong command of French, both spoken and written; English is an asset;
Authorization to work in Canada;
Criminal background check required.
