We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Woodstock, GA. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a protected, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. This role involves assisting with daily classroom activities, supervising children, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans.

Supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.

Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions and guidance.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration regarding children's progress and needs.

Assist with meal and snack times, including feeding and cleaning up.





Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA credential or related early childhood education coursework preferred.

Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

This position is based in a childcare center located in Woodstock, GA. The role requires standing, bending, and engaging actively with children throughout the day.
