Waypoint Centre is recruiting a full-time Registered Nurse for a temporary position up to one year. You will provide nursing care and assessments for patients in specialized forensic clinical programs. This role requires building strong therapeutic relationships and adhering to high nursing standards to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead nursing services and assess patient needs effectively
• Develop and implement therapeutic care and discharge plans
• Cultivate plans for patient reintegration into the community




• Observe and modify care plans based on patient progress
• Uphold safety protocols in compliance with nursing standards

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid Basic Life Support certification is essential
• Forensic Mental Health experience is an advantage
• Familiarity with secure facility operations preferred
• Robust communication and conflict resolution skills
