We're looking for a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a minimum of three years of recent experience in long term care. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality resident care, utilizing your clinical skills and critical thinking to assess and address changing health needs. If you are passionate about teaching and leadership in nursing, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct resident assessments and implement care plans
• Provide nursing interventions and quality care
• Communicate effectively with residents and families
• Mentor staff and promote professional development
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for resident-centered care
Requirements:
• Registered with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Minimum 3 years of experience in long term care
• Post-basic education in gerontology preferred
• Robust critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, days and evenings
