Two thriving specialty hospitals. One collaborative Internal Medicine team. Your choice of practice.
Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) is seeking a second board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Internist to join our growing Internal Medicine service in Western Massachusetts. You'll have the opportunity to choose your primary hospital - our South Deerfield location, offering the charm of the Pioneer Valley, or our West Springfield hospital, located in a vibrant small-city community. Just 25 minutes apart, the two hospitals function as one connected specialty network, giving you the flexibility to practice where you feel most at home while benefiting from the resources and collaboration of a larger team.
You'll join an established Internal Medicine service alongside a board-certified Internist who has built a loyal referral base, giving you an experienced clinical partner and an established caseload from day one. You'll also collaborate with specialists in Emergency, Surgery, Cardiology, Medical Oncology, and Avian & Exotic Medicine to manage complex cases and provide comprehensive patient care.
At VESH, we believe a rewarding specialty career should leave room for the life you enjoy outside the hospital. Your Tuesday-Friday schedule comes with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities , allowing you to build a fulfilling Internal Medicine practice without sacrificing your time away from work.
Across both hospitals, you'll have access to advanced endoscopy, CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, ultrasound, mechanical ventilation, a full in-house blood bank, laparoscopic equipment, dedicated certified technician support, experienced Emergency clinicians, and a strong referral network with a growing Internal Medicine caseload.
As part of Ethos Veterinary Health, you'll also have opportunities to participate in Ethos Science research, pursue continuing education, and shape your clinical interests and appointment schedule as your practice develops.
