Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the National Key Account Manager professionally promotes and sells Trouw Nutrition value proposition and services to existing and potential customers and establishes and maintains good relations with customers. With a focus on private label pet food accounts, you will contribute to, implement, and execute sales and account plans, support marketing and pricing initiatives, prepare and present customer quotations, and provide strategic account management services that contribute to customer success and business growth.You will be responsible for managing major national grocery and mass pet food private label accounts, including new product development initiatives, pricing and promotional activities, customer meetings, portal management, and ongoing account development. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, and work cross-functionally to support customer needs while delivering sales growth.Who we're looking forYou are an experienced sales and account management professional who excels at building strategic customer relationships and identifying opportunities for growth. You understand customer needs and can translate those needs into practical solutions that deliver value for both the customer and the business.You are highly organized, commercially minded, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are skilled in negotiation, communication, project management, and collaboration, and can effectively engage stakeholders across customer organizations and internal teams. You take ownership of results, demonstrate strong business acumen, and are motivated by delivering exceptional customer experiences and commercial success.You'll also needPost-secondary education in Business, Animal Science, or a related field, combined with relevant practical experienceBachelor's or Master's degree and relevant sales training preferred4-6 years of sales and account management experienceExperience managing business-to-business customer relationshipsExperience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
