Join MCC BC as the Program Coordinator for New Foundations in Victoria, supporting newcomers’ integration into Canadian society. This full-time role emphasizes financial capability, employment readiness, and life skills development.
As part of MCC BC’s Program team, the New Foundations Program Coordinator will oversee the program’s delivery across Victoria and Westshore. You will facilitate workshops, manage budgets, and engage directly with participants, volunteers, and community partners. A commitment to MCC BC’s Christian values and mission is essential in this role where you will receive structured onboarding and mentorship to build the necessary competencies for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and facilitate program activities across two sites
• Lead participant recruitment and ongoing support
• Supervise Program Intern and volunteers effectively
• Maintain relationships with community organizations for collaboration
• Manage program budget, planning, and reporting
Requirements:
• Two years of adult education facilitation experience
• Commitment to Christian faith and peacemaking
• Proven program management skills
• Legal work eligibility in Canada
• Valid BC Driver’s License with satisfactory record
