SCDSB is looking for a dedicated LTO teacher for Grades 3 and 4. This role requires strong instructional skills and effective classroom management. Teachers will work under the guidance of Principal Greg Blakeley and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver effective instruction and evaluate student progress
• Prepare teaching plans and outlines as required
• Maintain classroom readiness before student arrival
• Collaborate with the principal and co-educators
• Participate in discussions with students' families
Requirements:
• 5+ years of permanent teaching experience
• Strong commitment to inclusion and diversity
• Ability to conduct mandatory training modules
• Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Permission to contact professional references
