Agnico Eagle is seeking a Finance Controller to oversee financial reporting and compliance in Australia. Ensure accuracy in financial statements while supporting team members and auditing processes.

As a Finance Controller reporting to the Financial Reporting Superintendent, you will integrate with diverse departments within Nunavut operations. Your leadership will help ensure compliance with Agnico Eagle's accounting standards while supervising accountants and administrative technicians. This role is pivotal in maintaining timely reporting and responding to audit requests, among other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies
• Supervise monthly and quarterly financial reporting




• Approve final quarterly reports and financial statements
• Manage division audits and liaise with auditors
• Support departments on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with CPA
• 5-10 years of financial/accounting experience
• Mining industry experience is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong English communication skills
