Summary: As a Quality Control Inspector , your role is critical to the reputation that Ebco has built for delivering world-class quality manufacturing. You will be responsible for providing accurate, and reliable results.
What You'll Do: Welding inspection and monitoring including: fit-up, completed welds, repairs, reports
Nondestructive Testing (NDT) including MT and PT repairs, reports
Calibration of measuring instrumentation
Nonconformance identification, correction, close-out
Producing, organizing, and maintaining documentation, reports, records
Producing maps for welding, NDT, material
Compiling History Dockets
Material inspection, traceability and review MTRs
Quality Documentation including Drawings, Procedures, Inspection Reports, NCR’s, WPS’s
Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager or Foreman.
What You'll Bring: Education / Experience Welding inspector Certification (CWB, AWS or equivalent)
NDT Certification: MT, PT, and UT inspection certification (CGSB or equivalent)
Fabrication shop experience
Mechanical Technology Diploma or Mechanical Engineering or Journeyman Machinist/Fitter/Welder status is an asset
Fluent in English (Comprehension, Written & Oral).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently or on a team
Self starter,



ability to set priorities
Knowledge of fabrication drawings including parts lists, materials, dimensions, weld symbols, tolerances, NDT symbols, configuration
Knowledge of fabrication procedures including: inspection, welding, dimensional, heat treatment, blasting, painting
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook
Ability to learn and understand Enterprise Resource Management systems (ERP)
Ability to understand fabrication drawings, weld symbols, NDT symbols, GD&T; symbols, specifications
Ability to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures
Addtional Must have vision acuity levels acceptable to code requirements corrected or uncorrected.
Working at heights may be required
Rapid paced production environment with priorities that often change to meet current problems.
Must have safety footwear

Job Type: Full-time
Work Location : In-Person
Pay: $43.83 to $46.21 per hour (plus yearly raises as per Collective Agreement)
