Our client, a very reputable real estate/development company, is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled with a strong background in accounting and finance, ideally coming from public accounting.
The successful candidate will be a CPA with experience with financial modeling and reporting, cashflow forecasting, and people leadership.
Work Arrangement: 100% in-office in Cambridge, Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities: Develop and deliver accurate reports to various stakeholders, and translate the numbers into actionable business insights
Analyze business reports to support management decision-making
Manage a team of accounting staff, allocate and oversee their tasks and provide exceptional mentorship and leadership.
Monitor cash flow and prepare/analyze cash flow statements and reports.
Develop and enhance KPI dashboards
Collaborate with other managers, with senior management, and with various other departments




Evaluate systems, software, and workflow, and implement process improvements.
Report directly to the CFO and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications and Experience: 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting; experience working in public accounting preferred
2+ years of management/senior management experience required
CPA required
Very strong analysis and reporting skills
Advanced Excel skills required; experience with financial modeling in an Excel would be an asset
High level of organization and detail orientation
Strong communication skills
